Death O-:
New comic goes live at noon.
So, this weekend was the weekend from hell, to put it mildly. I had to take an 8-hour car drive down to Oregon for my family Christmas party. That's hardly the worst, though.
On the way home (when we had to pick up my sister from the airport), freezing rain started pouring down. Luckily, we had a hotel room for the day to wait out the "worst" of it. In actuality, waiting was probably a worse idea than continuing driving. The roads were so icy by the time we left for the airport that the car came quite close to careening off of a hill into oncoming traffic.
But that's not all! On the highway, we encountered what the radio stations called "heavy traffic." In other words, this means that our car did not move from the same spot (as in, litterally did not physically change position at all) for THREE HOURS. Apparently this was due to a fatal wreck further up on the road. So, we decided to take the treacherous side-road instead of the highway by pulling off at the exit we were stopped by.
And that is why I almost died. Long story short, minivans and ice don't mix.
To top off all of this, I had to be at school this morning at 7:30 (we got home at approximately 4 AM). I'm running on one hour of sleep right now. *Brain makes short-circuiting noises*
